The Journey to Zaonezhie

The journey is part of the experience. We’ve gathered all the most convenient travel options to make your path to Zaonezhie as seamless and relaxing as your stay.

From Moscow fly to Petrozavodsk Airport (Besovets), where you can book our transfer (travel time: 2.5−3 hours), get a Yandex. Taxi, or rent a car.

BY PLANE

Arrive at the Petrozavodsk train station, where you can book our transfer (travel time: 3−3.5 hours), get a Yandex. Taxi, or rent a car.

We recommend train #18A "Karelia" from Moscow for the most comfortable journey. From Saint Petersburg, the "Lastochka" train runs twice daily, along with several trains heading towards Murmansk.

Alternatively, you can arrive at the Medvezhyegorsk train station, where you can book our transfer (travel time: 1 hour) or call a taxi.

BY CAR

From Moscow

The travel time is approximately 14 hours. There are two possible routes: one through Yaroslavl/ Vologda and the other through Tver/ Veliky Novgorod. Both routes have excellent asphalt roads.

From Saint Petersburg

Travel time is about 9 hours via the Murmansk highway.
