Experience tranquility in our 13 quiet rooms and 3 guest houses, each featuring cozy wood-burning fireplaces. Enjoy exquisite dining in our restaurant, host events in our lakeside hall, and explore the pier and trails through the enchanting taiga forest. All of this is just an hour’s drive from Kizhi Island (an open-air museum and a UNESCO World Heritage site), nestled amidst the pristine northern wilderness and countless lakes.
Comfort in harmony with nature: our vision was brought to life by the team at the architectural firm Rhizome from St. Petersburg. Inspired by the scenic hotels of Chile, we embraced local materials and cultural elements in our design.
Natural elegance: the interiors are adorned with abundant wood, including birch and the unique Kelo pine, known for its resilience. Shungite, a stone found only in Zaonezhie, adds a touch of authenticity. The intricate patterns of Zaonezhie embroidery and the ancient runes of Karelia are woven into the details, reminding us of our roots, while the wooden finishes in the main building pay homage to the region’s rich architectural heritage.
